Disclaimer

Amateur radio is my hobby, not my profession. My knowledge and understanding comes from reading, learning from others, and from my own personal experience. I have fun, but sometimes I break stuff while trying to make things better. I write about things I actually do, so if I don't write about something I did, maybe you don't want to do it too, unless you have good insurance.

Some of my amateur radio history

- Technician license call KC9OYS (Jan 2009)
- General license call K9KMS (Mar 2009)
- First DX: VP59V of Turks & Caicos Islands on 20m (Mar 28, 2009)
- Longest DX: ZS2DK of South Africa at 8,879 miles (Dec 24, 2009)
- WAS: Got them all, but need ND and NM QSL's
- DXCC: 55 countries confirmed QSL (Apr 23, 2023)
